The cottage is ideal for a single family or for two families sharing a holiday or for a couple looking for a romantic treat.
Set in glorious Rosedale with stunning views, cosy rooms and plenty of open space, Appledore is a haven at any time of the year.
In winter the cottage is cosy and inviting -
In the summer the cottage is light and airy with great access to the garden and the hills beyond. On a good day the house and garden get the sun all day long and there is plenty of space to spread out and relax. The cottage is very comfortable and very well equipped.

Rosedale
The cottage is a short distance outside the lovely village of Rosedale Abbey. The village has a pub (which serves good food) and two shops selling basic provisions and newspapers and both have good cafes. Nearby Pickering and Kirkbymoorside are both good for a bigger shop. Asda and Tesco both deliver to the cottage.
Rosedale is wonderful walking country and there are walks of varying distance and difficulty straight from the cottage.
There is a small golf course at the end of our lane (& a bigger one at Kirkbymoorside) and lots of good horse riding can be found nearby.
