Downstairs there is a large light kitchen. The working end

has  all modern appliances including a dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. In the middle of the room is a large

round light oak dining table and at the other end a comfortable sitting area with a wood burning stove, Freesat television,

DVD player and a hi-fi system.

For truly cosy evenings there is a lovely sitting room with

an open fire, comfortable chairs, and a television with DVD/video player and another hi-fi system. On cold days the underfloor heating makes the slate tiles feel wonderful under your feet. The garage is well stocked with wood which you are welcome to use. All the rooms have easy access to the garden and are light and airy by day but cosy and snug in the evening.

Next to the hallway, where coats and boots can be stored,

there is a twin bedded room and a separate shower room

with a large shower cubicle (and a good powerful shower), toilet and basin. Although the cottage has not been

specially adapted for disabled use the ground floor

bedroom and shower room does make it very suitable for

guests who have difficulty with stairs. Access to the house is usually from the door to the side of the property which

only involves a very small step.
